OUR HISTORY The Westridge Story Westridge Cabinets was founded in 1983 when our founder purchased a sales branch office from Crestwood Cabinets Ltd. We immediately added some new products from a supplier in Calgary, Alberta and continued building the sales. In 1986, Westridge began manufacturing their own products in order to have control of lead times and service. Equipment was purchased and the company began serving the Red Deer market producing 1 kitchen at a time, on time, every time. The factory grew in ability and capacity every year, which allowed the continued growth of sales, first into Calgary, then Edmonton, and then into the USA. In 2000, Westridge opened its new 50,000 sq. ft. factory and office facility just outside of Red Deer. As sales continued to grow, the company undertook a 40,000 sq. ft. expansion to the factory and warehouse. The company currently employs some 300 people in manufacturing, marketing, sales, installation, service and administration. Westridge is recognized as a premier supplier of custom kitchen and bath cabinetry to the Alberta construction industry servicing both single family and multi-family facilities. Our current product line is available in oak, maple, hickory, cherry, alder, knotty alder and pvc thermofoil. It comes in some 33 colours, 3 glazes, 50 door styles and 7 different drawer types to choose from. The fundamental principal that governs Westridge’s activities in all cases is to make promises that can be kept, and then keep them. This is not always easy to do but the company is firmly committed to this principal and is willing to do whatever it takes to make good on a promise. It is this integrity that has been a major factor in the steady growth that has built Westridge Cabinets into the company that it is today.
